Shopify Store Setup
Not every store that opens actually sells. We build the part that does: a fast, reliable Shopify store that turns visitors into customers.
Shopify is the e-commerce platform of choice for millions of brands worldwide, and when it's set up correctly it significantly reduces operational load. But the platform's power alone doesn't generate sales. How product pages are structured, the friction in the cart and checkout flow, mobile speed, whether shipping and payment integrations work properly, findability in search engines — each of these has a direct impact on revenue.
At Commerslab we don't treat Shopify setup as simply installing a theme. We start by understanding your sales goals, product structure, logistics flow and customer profile, and we build the store around those realities. The result is a store that doesn't just look good but demonstrably sells.
Whether you're taking your first step into e-commerce or rebuilding an existing store from scratch, our setup team handles every step — from preparing the product catalogue to bringing payment systems online. You focus purely on selling.
Conversion-focused design and user flow
On an e-commerce site, design is a guidance tool before it is an aesthetic one. How many clicks it takes a visitor to reach the product they want, how quickly product images load, how clear size or variant selection is — these directly determine your add-to-cart rate.
When building your store we design the category architecture, filtering logic, product-page hierarchy and checkout flow around conversion data. We create an experience that respects your brand identity without wearing the user down. In the Turkish market, where mobile makes up the majority of traffic, everything is planned mobile-first.
Speed and a solid technical SEO foundation
Page speed directly affects both the user experience and search engine rankings. Image optimisation, removing unnecessary app bloat, streamlining theme code and improving Core Web Vitals metrics are all part of our standard scope during setup.
On the technical SEO side, the URL structure, title and description templates, product and collection structured data, sitemap and robots configuration are all set up correctly from day one. That way your store starts being indexed properly the moment it goes live.
Payment, shipping and invoicing integrations
For a store selling in Turkey, setup isn't complete until the payment and logistics side is done. Virtual POS and instalment payment configuration, cash-on-delivery options, integration with courier companies, shipment tracking and e-invoice / e-archive connections are all part of the setup scope.
We also define the returns and exchange flow up front. Automated notification flows, order-status e-mails and stock alerts that reduce the manual load on your customer-service team are all put in place.
Post-launch measurement and improvement
After the store goes live, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Meta Pixel and any other measurement tools deemed necessary are installed and verified. Once you can see which channel actually drives sales, you spend your ad budget far more efficiently.
For the first 30 days we monitor the store closely, spotting and fixing anything that blocks conversion. After that, if you like, we continue growing the store together with a monthly maintenance and development package.

Common questions about Shopify store setup
How long does a Shopify store setup take?
A standard setup usually takes 3–6 weeks. Product count, custom design needs, the number of integrations and content preparation all affect the timeline. Once the scope is clear, we give you a day-by-day schedule.
Do you use a ready-made theme or build a custom design?
Both are possible. If budget and time are the priority, we deeply customise a strong ready-made theme to fit your brand identity. If standing out is the priority, we build a fully custom design and theme.
Can I manage the store myself after launch?
Yes. At handover we train your team on the admin panel and leave a step-by-step guide for tasks like adding products, setting up campaigns and managing orders. If you prefer, we can also handle management for you.
Are Shopify's monthly fees included in the setup?
Shopify's own subscription fee and any third-party app charges are paid to the platform and are separate from the setup service fee. During discovery we decide together which plan fits your needs.
